The day after my 45th birthday, on the 260th day of my marriage, the California Supreme Court will hear oral arguments on the legal cases arising from Proposition 8.  That gives us a ruling by the first week of June.   Should be an interesting spring.

   i saw that the sac bee has posted an interesting little database that allows searches for prop 8 donors. might they be envisioning a scenario where DB checks are made as part of pre-hire, etc?:

   At this point the various databases have been publicized enough it would probably come up on any pre-hire Google search. The results led to several boycotts during and after the elections. Wouldn’t be surprised if some businesses are using the info proactively to avoid getting caught in similar boycotts.
